SUNRISE, FL, December 10, 2013 – MDLIVE has named Leslie Courtney Executive Vice President of Partner Development. She assumed her new responsibilities November 29, 2013. Prior to MDLIVE, Ms. Courtney was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Boston-based Consumer’s Medical Resource where she led their sales, account management and marketing strategy for FORTUNE 500 corporations throughout the United States. Ms. Courtney played a pivotal role in tripling the size of the business in her tenure, as well as achieving 90+% customer retention. Her expertise in the healthcare arena demanded her presence at multiple national conferences as a featured speaker. Prior to Consumer’s Medical Resource, Ms. Courtney was Vice President of Channel Development at IncentOne and performed as the top revenue generator in channel sales. Ms. Courtney was a key contributor to the worksite wellness footprint though her role at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of RI where she led a multidisciplinary team of over 35 professionals in health education, account management and product development.
Among her responsibilities as a member of MDLIVE’s sales management team, Ms. Courtney will lead the company’s channel sales to the health insurance and health system segments, expanding the company’s installations of enterprise telehealth solutions that are instrumental in fortifying accountable care strategies
Ms. Courtney reports to MDLIVE’s Chief Sales Officer, Chuck Hector.

Ms. Courtney has nearly 20 years of experience in health care. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Eastern Nazarene College and her Master of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness Management from Springfield College a nutrition specialization.
Leslie resides outside of Boston, MA with her husband and 2 children. Leslie is an active supporter of breast cancer research initiatives, and volunteers in her community food drives, politics and school fundraising.
