Gregory Strauss, named Executive Vice President, Enterprise Solution Sales at MDLIVE

MDLIVE has named Gregory Strauss, MBA Executive Vice President of Enterprise Solution Sales.
He assumed his new responsibilities June 1, 2013.

Prior to MDLIVE, Mr. Strauss was Senior Vice President of Sales at AnswersMedia where he led global business development strategy for FORTUNE 500 corporations and health plans domestically, and in South America and the Middle East. Mr. Strauss was instrumental in delivering the organization’s early adopting clients, overseeing installations of interactive, online engagement tools and gamification deployed as member and employee benefits. Prior to AnswersMedia, Mr. Strauss was Senior Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at WiredBenefits, a leading provider of proprietary financial transaction solutions for the healthcare and retail industry. In that role he was responsible for managing a sales team to build a foundation of core clients in the health and retail sectors, and had board and investor accountability to the private equity firm Silverstream Capital through MedImpact.

Among his responsibilities as a member of MDLIVE’s sales management team, Mr. Strauss will lead the company’s sales to the health insurance and health system segments, expanding the company’s installations of enterprise telehealth solutions that are instrumental in fortifying accountable care strategies.

Mr. Strauss reports to MDLIVE’s Chief Sales Officer, Chuck Hector who recently stated, “I am thrilled that Greg has joined our team as our clients are continuing to demand skilled consulting, not just sales,” Hector said. “His passion and tenacity will make an immediate impact on our continued ability to structure highly sophisticated business solutions and relationships.”

Mr. Strauss has more than 20 years of experience in health care. He earned a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree from the University of Denver while on a golf scholarship, and his Masters of Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management with a health care specialization.

Mr. Strauss currently serves in an advisory capacity to several health care companies and is the former Chairman of the Lake Forest Caucus Committee. He resides in Chicago with his wife and two children.
