Brian Dudzik, named Vice President of Sales at MDLIVE

SUNRISE, FL, October 1, 2012 – MDLIVE, Inc. Brian Dudzik named Vice President of Sales to lead Health Plan and Hospital business development of Payer Solutions. He assumes his new responsibilities October 1, 2012.

Prior to MDLIVE Mr. Dudzik was Sales Director of the SE Region for OptumHealth where he oversaw all direct business for OptumHealth’s Financial Services portfolio of products and services. Prior to OptumHealth, Mr. Dudzik was VP of Account Management for CareCore National, LLC a specialty benefit management company that manages the quality and use of outpatient diagnostic and cardiac imaging, cardiac implantable devices, oncology drugs and therapeutic agents, radiation therapy, sleep pain and lab services. In that role he was responsible for supervising the Account Management team who oversaw a growing list of America’s most popular and trusted health plans, that aggregately manage treatment affecting more than 30 million people.

Among his responsibilities as a member of MDLIVE’s business development team, Mr. Dudzik will lead the companies’ execution of sales to the health insurance and hospital system segments offering enterprise telehealth applications and custom network arrangements.

Mr. Dudzik reports to MDLIVE’s Chief Sales Officer, Chuck Hector.

Mr. Dudzik has more than 12 years of experience in health care. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He spent 5 years as an Officer in the United States Army; and 12 years in progressive leadership positions at Aetna, Inc, Trustmark Insurance Company and United Health Group.
Mr. Dudzik resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife.
